DeWildt Destruction of our heritage

Postby MrC981 » Mon Oct 17, 2016 11:11 am

I had not contributed to this forum for many years but after a ride in DeWildt this past Sunday was really saddened what I saw.
It seems that it is not only our Rhino suffering but our flora as well. I saw an old white bakkie at the top of tennis ball hill loading up about 3 or 4 tall - maybe 2m high - aloes.
I'm not sure if aloes are protected or endangered but seeing the wanton destruction of that hill is really sad. Evidence shows that many of these plants have already been removed.
